Patrik Illo

Patrik Illo (1973) is a respected designer who works as External Chief Designer for prestigious glass companies (Rona a.s. in Slovakia, Krosno, S.A. in Poland).The glass design of Patrik Illo is characteristic for his respect for functionality, minimalism and elegance of pure lines and supreme mastery of technique. But above all, it is his humor and ease which gives work a special signature.Although his expression in glass is primarily oriented on design, he continually creates free art too, installations and objects. Along with his art work he teach and leads the Department of Glass at the Academy of Fine Art and Design in Bratislava. 
For his glass design Patrik Illo has received many important domestic and international prizes.
