Tetsuya Ishiyama

Tetsuya Ishiyama, Japanese ceramist, was born in 1973 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. He chose a very quiet beauty of green glaze, it consists of a shallow grain into a square section carefully, to make a similar to the effect of the surface reflection, he likes to make a thick glaze presents water soft feeling, or directly on the "edge", and then with the creation of these simple and soft, the other materials and ceramics. We can see that the high purity gold is burned on the ceramics, so that the precious and permanent gold is combined with the simple clay. After firing, it shows a detailed visual effect and produces condensed vitality. In his ceramic works, the traditional skills, concepts, aesthetics and attitudes to life, which are very important to the artist, are clearly expressed.
