Born in 1988 in Hunan Province, he currently lives and works in Shanghai. 

In 2019, he received a postgraduate degree from the Dusseldorf Academy of Arts, Germany, and was awarded the title of honorary university student by Professor Katharina Fritsch. 

His works touch on memory, time and everyday objects, and he creates photographs, installations, videos and works on paper based on his own interests. In his creation, he tries to explore how to replace the plain functionality of everyday things in a poetic artistic way. He reassembles and arranges ordinary things. In a completely unexpected way, it re-confronts everyday and familiar things, making them create new relationships and new emotions. His works have been exhibited in important art institutions at home and abroad, including Hangar Art Center in Belgium, K21 Art Museum in Dusseldorf, Fukwang Art Museum, Solingen Art Museum, the Grand Palais in Paris, France, and Xihai Art Museum in Qingdao. He won the TOP20 Chinese Contemporary Photography Upstart Award in 2023, the 6th Brussels Contemporary Photography Festival in Belgium in 2022, was shortlisted for the 73rd International Bergis Art Prize in Germany in 2019, and was shortlisted for the Three Shadows Photography Award in China in 2016.
