Born in Hunan, China, based in Berlin and Beijing. 

After her FBA studies at the Beijing Film Academy, she moved to Berlin, and fifinished her six years study at the Berlin University of Arts in 2021. 

She grew up in a period of rapid social and economic development along with cultural fusion, and was deeply inflfluenced by cinema, music, comics and literature. Guided by her own experiences and the journeys made between the East and the West, her creative inspiration and focus/theme selection continually derives from her life experience in contrasting environments as well as her observation and reflflection thereof. With her works, she probes into the veiled historical and cultural convictions, contradictions and fifinally individual mentalities behind human behaviour. 

The dominant medium of her artistic practice is photography that engages in peculiar photography printing techniques. For her, photography is like a slice extracted from a complete story, of which she tells her own account, but also leaving the audience with a relatively open thinking space (to fifill in the blanks). — Using an unconventional technique, she allows the pixels to ripple, resulting in a morphed image of the original content. Through the undulations of these new visual elements, the meaning of the photograph becomes blurred. This transformation has a two-fold signifificance to her; on one hand this is a mirroring her cognitive habitat, and on the other, it is a welcoming entry point for the beholder to create similarly unique and personal interpretations.
