ARTIST

 

Zhao Chao

Born in 1987 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, he is now a teacher in the sculpture department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. He lives and works in Chongqing.


He is committed to contemporary sculpture creation practice, exploring sculpture ontology language and creation theory research, and makes multi-dimensional attempts in time, process, body, Internet of things and AI art research.


In 2022, he will create AI artist Zhang Chao, and push AI Zhang Chao into the scene of contemporary art, expand the possibilities of sculpture modeling, reshape the relationship between sculpture and digital art, explore the boundary of sculpture language between reality and virtual, and also try to construct the identity of artificial intelligence as an art creator.
