Xie Wendi

I´m interested in glass´s contradiction, which allows it to appear hard or soft, rough or smooth, firm or fragile. Through the looking glass, there exists both the very same and very contrast. I took these properties into consideration of thinking the world as the looking glass (mirror). We all are living in a looking-glass house:
In the very beginning, you were born upside down from your mother´s body, so that your first gaze at the world was the reversal of the norm. And when you were growing up, all the friends you made were somehow another shadow of yours. Then you came to a mature age, you decided to get marriage, but heard that your lover was the other half of yourself. To continue, whether you wrote or drew, the novel had to reflect your character and the figure in the painting had to reflect yourself. In the day, you were awake, doing all those things to be alive; at night, you fell asleep, dreaming all the matter you experienced and expected. You reflected yourself in every minute, and referred to others at all times.
