I hope to create non-linear narratives using objects and images much like a poet uses words. The implied meaning of objects and images change when combined and the visual reading of the work becomes more than the sum total of its parts, a new invention evoking multiple associations in the mind of the viewer. Making art is my way of trying to hold on to the ephemera of daily life. There is something profound in even the slightest and most subtle of human experiences. Glass, with its transparency and translucency as a material, is at once there and not there, making it the perfect poetic material to try to capture the fleeting.
