ARTIST

Bert van Loo

Bert van loo’s work is made of extra clear float glass, cut into a model, broken, polished and shaped. Stacked and glued to create enormous transparant sculptures. Frequently combined with another contrasting material. Light brings glass to life, reflecting the surface and diffusing it from inside and changing every move you make, it penetrates deep into the sculpture. Often his sculptures (in commission) have a relationship with the specific location or place.
