Miloš Balgavý

Miloš Balgavý (1955) belongs among respected artists on European glass art scene, many of his artworks are represented in prominent public and private collections in Europe, USA and Asia. From the beginning of his artistic he has been working only with optical glass, applying perfect shapes and sensitive colorfulness in the creation of his cut glass sculptures.
By shaping the glass substance, he follows changes in the intensity of colors, discovering the relation between the volume and the final effect of the color tone. To a substantial degree, color contributes to the particular final effect of his art works.
